Trade Rumors: Ian Kinsler (Tigers) & Prinz Fielder (Rangers)

After completing only 2 of the 9 total years on his $214 million contract with the Detroit Tigers, Prince Fielder has been traded to the Texas Rangers with $30 million for Ian Kinsler.  For the Rangers, this leaves 7 years with $138 million on Fielder's contract.  For the Tigers, this leaves 4 years with about $62 million on Kinsler's contact.

2013 Topps #28.

The trade would allow Texas to put Jurickson Profar at second base, while bringing a bat to their line-up.  For Detroit, Cabrera will probably move to 1B for Fielder with Infante at 2B for free agent, Infante.
